I love how Li calls Bazooka bubble gum "Bamzooka!" It cracks me up! I actually have informed him (without judgement) that how it is typically pronounced (just so he knows), but he prefers to continue to call it Bamzooka. So it is! In our house anyway! :)
Tonight I was upstairs with Makana while she was pooping and simultaneously reading out loud to herself (as best as she can recall in her own words) The Cat In The Hat. Li was downstairs and had put an Amy's Spinach Pizza in the oven and had put leftover ravioli in a glass bowl and nuked it. I thought I had smelled something in the oven and when I thought so the second time I asked Katie to check it for me (I was still upstairs with Makana). Li then announced that he had surprised us with dinner! When I came downstairs, he said that he knows I make dinner for everyone all the time and that he wanted to do it for us tonight. SO SWEET! He was so excited making dinner for us all and said that if he remembers, he will do it tomorrow night too! Bless that big heart of his!
