Li Read His First Book!

Li has been reading lots of words here and there for the past couple of months. He points to words and reads them aloud either telling me or asking me what they say. He has done this on Club Penguin, on signs at the YMCA, in stores, in books, etc. A few nights ago, we were reading in bed and he read A Day With Barney aloud. He was so proud of himself! I am so happy he is learning to read too! And I am glad he has the ability to do it in his own time, without being forced to succumb to a schedule or made to sound out words aloud in front of classmates!
